A Facial Treatment That Sculpts, Drains and Restores

When you book a Gua Sha facial massage with me, you’re not booking a tool — you’re booking a technique I’ve refined through years of hands-on facial work.

Our unique Gua Sha is crafted from Kansa, a highly conductive and therapeutic Ayurvedic metal that amplifies the benefits of your skincare routine, gliding smoothly over the skin.
But the real difference comes from-

  • Where I work — targeting the exact points across your face, neck and jawline that need it
  • How much pressure I use — calibrated to shift fluid and ease tension, not just glide over the skin
  • The sequence I follow — a specific order across your face, neck and jawline that lifts the tissue

That’s the difference between a treatment and something you’d try at home in front of a mirror.

I offer Gua Sha facial massage at my salon in East Killara, on Sydney’s North Shore, working with clients across the North Shore and greater Sydney who want a results-driven, non-invasive alternative to injectables.

Gua Sha

What to Expect in a Session

  • Assessment first — I check where you’re holding tension, where fluid is pooling, and where your skin needs the most attention
  • Prepped skin — Gua Sha is worked into a full facial treatment, so your skin is properly cleansed and prepped before I begin
  • Oils or serums — I always massage with product on the skin, so the tool glides smoothly and those actives absorb properly
  • Full coverage — slow, deliberate strokes across the jawline, cheekbones, under-eyes, and often the neck and décolletage too
  • Tailored to you — layered into your regular facial, or as the centrepiece of a specialty facial massage session, depending on what you book
  • I always massage with my own blend of active essential oils, mixed to suit your skin, so the tool glides smoothly and those actives absorb properlyA typical session runs alongside your facial rather than as a rushed add-on, so there’s no clock-watching through the treatment.

What You'll Notice during the Gua Sha Facial Massage

  • Less puffiness, especially around the eyes and cheeks
  • A more sculpted, defined look through the jawline and cheekbones
  • Genuine tension relief — many clients hold stress in their jaw and temples without realising it
  • Brighter, more even skin tone as circulation improves
  • Better product absorption, since the massage helps serums and oils penetrate rather than sit on top

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I get a Gua Sha facial massage?
Most clients see the best results with a treatment every 3–4 weeks, though many notice de-puffing and a lifted feel after a single session.

Does Gua Sha facial massage hurt?
No — it should never be painful. I use firm, deliberate pressure to move fluid and release tension, but it’s a comfortable, often relaxing treatment, not a deep-tissue one.

How is a professional Gua Sha facial different from doing it myself at home?
At home, most people are working blind — same strokes, same pressure, regardless of what their skin and muscles actually need that day. I assess your face first and adjust pressure, direction and sequence accordingly, which is where the sculpting and drainage results come from.

Can Gua Sha be combined with other treatments?
Yes — it’s layered into a facial or paired with other facial treatments for enhanced lifting, since the Kansa metal is conductive.

Is it suitable for sensitive or reactive skin?
Generally yes, since it’s non-invasive with no needles or heat, but I’ll check your skin during the consultation and adjust pressure if you have rosacea, active breakouts or recent cosmetic treatments.

What products do you use during the treatment?
I use my own blend of active essential oils, mixed to suit each client’s skin — so the oil isn’t just there to help the tool glide, it’s chosen to actually support what your skin needs that day.
